Tsepo Mashilo
Junior Therapist
Tsepo was brought up in the South of Johannesburg. He completed his matric in 2017 in the Orange Farm Secondary School. In 2018, he was enrolled in a community college Siyabonga Telecentre and Multi-Purpose where he attained his End User Computing and Office Administration Certificate.
He completed his Bachelor’s Degree of Occupational Therapy at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2023. In August 2024, he completed his community service year at Johannesburg Metro Health District, based full time in Finetown Clinic where he gained experience in chronic physical and psychiatric rehabilitation, which led to him starting OT Psych Groups for outpatients. He also outreached to Lenasia South District Hospital and Stretford Community Health Centre.
In September 2024, he started working for Juanè Raats Occupational Therapy Hands-On Centre.
During his free time, Tsepo enjoys reading fiction. He states that it helps with developing empathy – picturing yourself in the storyteller’s shoes. He has a special interest in Hands Therapy.
