Hands-on Neuro Centre

At our Hands-on Neuro Clinic, we provide assessment and treatment of any functional difficulties you may experience as a result of any neurological condition or symptoms, whether it is physical or cognitive functional difficulties. We aim to maximize your health, wellness and independence in everything that you are required and want to do.

Treatment diagnosis examples are such as patients who suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic head injury, injuries from motor vehicle accidents, cerebral palsy, Guillain Barre Syndrome, increased pressure on the brain, Epilepsy etc.

We have a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Guillain Barre, Hydrocephalus, Encephalitis, Traumatic Brain injuries, Epilepsy and Stroke Rehabilitation.

We also have therapists trained in the Bobath NDT International Certification techniques for neuro rehabilitation.

We further provide assistance with requesting PMB funding from medical Aids to aid reduce cost of own medical expenses, where possible.

In Bloemfontein we are affiliated with “Live Life Rehabilitation Team” and in Kimberley with “Habilitas Rehabilitation Team” which aims to provide holistic and interdisciplinary team management to individuals referred in acute hospitals, out-patients for all rehab needs and arrays of diagnoses.

We also have a special Multiple Sclerosis program.

Our team consists of Occupational Therapists, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, Psychologist, Speech Therapists, and Biokineticists.

Considering the Covid pandemic many patients who suffered from Covid struggles with post Covid complications of which can include memory loss, attention, mental and physical endurance problems, emotional exhaustions, tiredness, loss of strength, sensation problems, reduced problem solving and planning abilities, etc.

In the Hands-on Neuro clinic, we also aid patients who suffer from post covid related functional problems.
