Hands-on Orthopaedics Centre
At our Hands-on Orthopaedics Centre we provide skilled treatment to those individuals affected by orthopaedic trauma, by focusing on rehabilitation to obtain optimal independence and decreasing limitations experienced in daily living.
Orthopaedic injuries can have significant influence on an individual’s independence in activities of daily living such as dressing, washing, household chores, participation in work, etc.
We perform ergonomical training, joint protection principals, energy conservation techniques, we teach adaptations techniques, issue, and train in the use of assistive devices, and perform environmental adaptations where functional improvements cannot be achieved.
We also assist in work adaptations and return to work rehabilitation to ensure safe return to and functioning at work, as well as assisting in recommendations for future functional planning according to work functional ability.
We have special interest in the treatment of back and neck injuries, arthritis, hip, and knee replacements and have Therapists who did advanced courses and training in the ergonomical treatment thereof.
